Matthias Fenner Toolworks

Matthias Fenner Toolworks developed from the woodturnery I founded in 2016.

Since then I have steadily expanded my level of knowledge, from the initial file handles I expanded my range to awls and knives followed by mallets and branding irons.

Over the time more and more custom-made items and exotic woods as well as very special individual pieces were added.

With a few small exceptions, I manufacture all components of my range myself. Every tool is handcrafted by me personally.

In 2019 I expanded my offer by branding irons. Since then I have also been making tools with personal engravings and exclusive cutting tools.

Over time, the small basement workshop has grown into a company that continues to grow. I have also continuously expanded my machine park, initially only equipped with a wood lathe, now I can trust on many machines for toolmaking.

Today I have the ability to transform metal and wood into all kinds of high-quality tools.

In 2020 I moved to the new workshop building from Wülfrath near Wuppetal to the new location in Lichtenberg (Hanoverian) Wendland.

Here I started my new Workshop in an around 1900 build barn with many space for new possibilities.

My claim to manufacture tools with absolute quality and a flawless appearance has remained.

On this basis, I have also decided to continue to manufacture my range myself, without the help of employees. So all steps of the production go through my hands and I can guarantee a consistent quality.

This means that Matthias Fenner Toolworks remains a manufacturer of hand tools in unconditional quality that I run alone.
